  • The photoresist project has been completed.

In 2024, Jiuri New Materials achieved a significant breakthrough in the semiconductor industry: the Dajing New Materials project, with an annual capacity of 4,500 tons of photoresist, has been completed and is now entering the trial production phase, marking a new milestone in the company’s technological innovation and manufacturing capabilities in the semiconductor materials sector.

  • Inner Mongolia Jiuri and Dajing Information have successively commenced production.

In 2022, the company continued to make steady progress in its core industries and key projects. The Inner Mongolia Jiuri project, with an annual capacity of 9,250 tons of a series of photoinitiators, has been gradually commissioned and put into operation; meanwhile, the Dajing Information project, producing 600 tons per year of photo‑sensitizers dedicated to microelectronic photoresists, has successfully commenced trial production with feedstock and completed sample validation.

  • Establish Jiuri Semiconductor

In 2021, the company accelerated the construction of its Inner Mongolia facility, acquired a key raw-materials supplier to establish Jiuri Hongrun, and continued to strengthen its position in the photoinitiator industry. It also further expedited the development of the Dajing Information photosensitizer project, invested in establishing the Jiuri Semiconductor R&D platform for semiconductor chemical materials, and acquired Jinghong Bio and Keli Bio, thereby steadily advancing its strategic footprint in the semiconductor chemical materials sector.

  • Entering the semiconductor electronic chemical materials industry

In 2020, the company successfully acquired Dajing New Materials and Dajing Information, and invested in Weixin New Materials, marking a substantial step forward in its strategic positioning within the semiconductor chemical materials sector. Leveraging its decades of expertise in chemical synthesis, the company aims to seize opportunities and take the lead on an industrial development path centered on the photopolymerization industry and prioritizing the semiconductor sector, striving to remain at the forefront of global technological advancement while ensuring steady, long-term growth.

  • Listing on the STAR Market

On November 5, 2019, the company successfully listed on the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 688199.SH), raising a total of RMB 1.854 billion. This listing on the STAR Market marks a significant milestone in the company’s history, laying the groundwork for its rapid growth and helping it achieve its ambitious goal of becoming a global leader in photocurable materials at an early date.

  • The First Major Breakthrough

In 2018, Jiuri achieved remarkable results and experienced significant growth. Despite adverse factors such as raw material shortages and stringent safety and environmental regulations, the company posted substantial year‑over‑year increases in both sales revenue and profits, with sales revenue surpassing RMB 1 billion.

  • Hunan Jiuri has commenced production.

To further implement the company’s development strategy, expand production capacity, and elevate manufacturing standards, the company initiated construction of its third production base—Hunan Jiuri—in 2015, which commenced trial operations on August 18, 2016. Located in the Hongjiang Industrial Park of Huaihua City, Hunan Province, Hunan Jiuri New Materials Co., Ltd. has an initial planned capacity of 8,000 tons per year. As both the company’s first and China’s inaugural modern production facility to integrate automated systems into its UV‑curing production line, Hunan Jiuri is also equipped with a comprehensive wastewater treatment system. In terms of process standards, production efficiency, quality control, and safety and environmental protection, it has reached world‑class levels within the industry.

  • Complete industry M&A

The acquisition of Changzhou Huati Chemical marked Jiuri’s first step in industry‑wide M&A activity. With the establishment of Changzhou Jiuri Chemical Co., Ltd., the integration from Huati to Jiuri was successfully achieved, further diversifying the company’s product portfolio, enhancing its industry influence, and solidifying its leading position in the photoinitiator sector—thus completing the most critical phase of its industry‑consolidation strategy.

  • Shandong Jiuri has commenced production.

At this point, the company’s original 10-mu site could no longer keep pace with its rapid growth. Dr. Zhao Guofeng keenly recognized that insufficient production capacity would become the primary bottleneck hindering the company’s long-term, stable development, and thus began searching for a new manufacturing base as early as 2010. Following extensive site assessments, the company selected the Xinhai Chemical Industrial Park in Wudi County, Shandong Province, as the location for its new facility. Shandong Jiuri Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., the company’s first production base, officially broke ground in March 2011, commenced operations in March 2012, and reached full production capacity across all lines in 2013. The completion of this new production base has provided a solid foundation for the company’s accelerated growth, alleviating any concerns about future expansion.

  • Establishment

In October 1998, Zhao Guofeng, Xie Minyu, and other Nankai University students, driven by the dream of contributing to the nation through industry, founded their first company—“Jiuri.” The name “Jiuri” was derived from “Xu,” symbolizing the company as a rising sun, ever‑renewing and perpetually radiant.
