Shandong Jiuxing Zhihe has been established and is now in operation.
Entering the 21st century, with the advent of the green and ecological economy, there is an urgent need to develop new coatings and technologies that are energy‑saving, highly efficient, and environmentally friendly. Radiation‑cured coatings fully align with China’s vigorously promoted policies of a low‑carbon economy and a green, eco‑friendly economy—aimed at reducing pollution and emissions—and are among the environmentally responsible, resource‑conserving coating types actively encouraged by the industry. Consequently, the research, development, production, and application of radiation‑cured coatings have gained new opportunities for market growth.
Entering the 21st century, with the advent of the green and ecological economy, there is an urgent need to develop new coatings and technologies that are energy‑saving, highly efficient, and environmentally friendly. Radiation‑cured coatings fully align with China’s vigorously promoted policies of pollution reduction, emission cuts, a low‑carbon economy, and an eco‑friendly green economy, and they are also among the environmentally sustainable, resource‑efficient coating types actively encouraged by the industry. Consequently, the research, development, production, and application of radiation‑cured coatings have gained new opportunities for market growth.
At present, although China’s coatings industry has experienced rapid growth, the imbalance between coatings and coating application is becoming increasingly apparent, primarily manifested in the relative lag of coating application. As a common saying goes, “30% is the coating, 70% is the application,” underscoring the critical importance of proper application. Coatings can only fully realize their diverse decorative qualities—as well as their protective functions such as corrosion resistance, stain resistance, and mold prevention—when applied through skilled coating processes. Coatings and coating application must work closely together and be integrated. Consequently, market demand for integrated coatings–application solutions is steadily rising, and the coatings industry must prioritize seamless coordination and compatibility with coating application to foster win‑win collaboration across the upstream and downstream value chain.
Seizing the rare market opportunities presented by radiation‑cured coatings, while addressing the inherent weaknesses and shortcomings of the traditional coatings industry, Jiuri New Materials has positioned itself strategically and established Shandong Jiuxing Zhihe New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jiuxing Zhihe”). Jiuxing Zhihe focuses on the research, development, and production of high‑end, environmentally friendly radiation‑curable materials for metal surfaces and other applications, with the vision of becoming a comprehensive service provider that integrates new‑material R&D and manufacturing, process development and customization, and equipment design and fabrication—offering customers end‑to‑end, eco‑friendly, functional radiation‑cured coating solutions.
On March 18, 2021, Jiuxing Zhihe obtained its business license in Huantai County, Zibo City, Shandong Province. Following several months of preparation and operational planning, the company plans to soon establish China’s first “R&D Base for Radiation-Cured Coating Applications” within the New‑Old Kinetic Energy Conversion (New Materials) Industrial Park in Huantai County, Zibo City. At present, the pilot‑scale and production facilities earmarked for this base are being constructed with support from the local government and are progressing rapidly. Meanwhile, the company has begun recruiting talent to lay a solid foundation for the upcoming pilot‑scale R&D activities.
