Photoresist Industry Conference | Jiuri New Materials Supports Industry Development

On August 15, the 2023 Shiyin Photoresist Industry Conference was held in Pizhou. Jiuri New Materials was invited to attend, joining leading experts, industry elites, and prominent figures from the photoresist sector to discuss strategies for future development.

The Photoresist Industry Conference, themed “Focusing on Ensuring the Stability of the Photoresist Supply Chain,” seized upon emerging opportunities in the sector, offering the industry a broader and more in-depth forum for discussion. It thoroughly examined key industry challenges and presented a wide array of potential solutions. The convening of this conference has established a robust platform and created valuable opportunities for enterprises across the supply chain to engage in deeper collaboration, strengthen supply‑chain resilience, and accelerate the development of the photoresist industry.

On the morning of August 16, at the special forum on photoresist raw materials and key equipment, He Zhengjie, Deputy General Manager of Jiuri New Materials’ Semiconductor Chemical Materials Division, delivered a keynote speech titled “Domestication of Photoresists—Jiuri in Action.”

He Zhengjie stated that, in the semiconductor sector, Jiuri New Materials has taken the lead in China by achieving mass production of diazoquinone‑based photoresists. The company has established a fully equipped lithography‑resist R&D platform and a dedicated R&D team; several of its semiconductor‑grade photoresist products are currently undergoing validation with downstream customers, paving the way for market entry and the domestic substitution of imported alternatives. Looking ahead, upon completion of the 4,500‑ton lithography‑resist production project, Jiuri will boast significantly expanded manufacturing capacity to meet the growing demands of domestic clients. Committed to advancing the localization of critical semiconductor materials, Jiuri New Materials remains focused on photoresist R&D. As an upstream supplier, the company calls for close collaboration across the industry value chain to achieve mutual benefits and share the rewards of domestic self‑sufficiency.

The company stated that it will continue to ramp up R&D investment, strengthen its core proprietary intellectual property, steadily widen its technological moat, and proactively explore new frontiers in the lithography sector. Jiuri New Materials looks forward to working with companies across the industry chain to deepen “industry–university–research–application” collaboration, break through more bottleneck technologies, and achieve early self-reliance and controllability of its supply chain.
