Uniting Hearts and Pooling Strength to Scale New Heights | A Chronicle of the 2023 Jiuri New Materials “Xiangshan–Badaling” Team-Building Event
To strengthen employees’ sense of historical identity, foster patriotic spirit, promote a healthy lifestyle, and enhance both physical and mental well-being, the Jiuri New Materials Trade Union organized a team-building event for headquarters staff, taking them to Beijing’s Xiangshan Park and the Badaling Great Wall on November 3–4.
As the autumn winds rise and maple leaves turn red, colleagues today visited the Xiangshan Revolutionary Memorial Hall with great enthusiasm, paying homage to historic sites such as Shuangqing Villa and Laiqingxuan. They carefully studied Chairman Mao’s handwritten notes from that pivotal period, recalled the historical context and itinerary of the Party Central Committee’s “march to Beijing to take the exam,” and reviewed the major events that unfolded at Xiangshan. In doing so, they deeply honored the revolutionary leaders’ far-sighted vision, unwavering revolutionary convictions, bold pioneering spirit, and outstanding leadership. As sons and daughters of China, we must remember history, stay true to our original aspirations, cherish the hard-won happiness of today, and courageously shoulder our responsibilities and mission—working tirelessly to build a strong nation.
The next day, brimming with enthusiasm and high spirits, everyone set off for Badaling. “He who has never scaled the Great Wall is no true hero,” they encouraged one another, pressing forward in a single bound, climbing over section after section of ramparts and passing through fortress after fortress, until they finally reached the highest point—the North Eighth Tower of the Great Wall. Standing atop the winding, majestic Great Wall, we recalled the unyielding resolve of the Chinese nation in repelling the Japanese invaders, felt the artisan spirit that went into its construction, gazed upon our country’s vast and beautiful landscapes, and took in the ever‑changing currents of the international arena. We could not help but feel proud of the strength and prosperity of China today.
With smiles lighting up their faces and strength burning in their hearts, this team‑building event was both a memorable experience and a cherished memory. Throughout the activities, the Jiu Ri team fully demonstrated a spirit of unity, collaboration, and unwavering determination to overcome challenges and scale new heights. Looking ahead, Jiu Ri will continue to uphold its corporate ethos of “hard work and perseverance, staying true to principles while innovating,” uniting as one to strive tirelessly for Jiu Ri’s vision of becoming a global leader in photosensitive materials, and dedicating ourselves to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
