On November 28, 2020, the “2020 China Top 500 New Economy Enterprises” press conference was held in Hangzhou, co-hosted by the China Enterprise Evaluation Association, the Hangzhou Municipal People’s Government, and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce. With the theme “New Industries, New Business Forms, and New Business Models,” the event aimed to boost the development of China’s new economy and identify a group of model enterprises representing emerging industries, innovative business forms, and cutting-edge business models.

At the conference, the China Enterprise Evaluation Association released the “2020 Report on the Development of China’s Top 500 New Economy Enterprises” and the corresponding ranking. The assessment of the Top 500 New Economy Enterprises uses market capitalization or valuation as the primary metric, while six categories—enterprise size, growth rate, profitability, technology-driven innovation, talent and employment, and public sentiment—along with nine sub‑indicators, serve as corrective factors to adjust the market capitalization or valuation. This process yields the final list of China’s Top 500 New Economy Enterprises.

This year’s list includes leading domestic companies such as Alibaba, Tencent, NetEase, Baidu, and Huawei—all frontrunners in China’s next-generation information technology, digital cultural‑creative industries, and emerging technologies. Among them, Jiuri New Materials, a well‑known new‑materials firm, has repeatedly been honored with awards like the Tianjin Patent Gold Award and the China Patent Excellence Award, earning high recognition from both the government and the industry. Leveraging its deep technical expertise and strong market performance in the field of photocurable materials, Jiuri New Materials has once again secured a place on the “2020 Top 500 Chinese New Economy Enterprises” list, underscoring its position as an industry leader in the new‑materials sector.

According to reports, at this press conference, numerous new‑economy entrepreneurs engaged in interactive discussions under themes such as “The New Economy and the New Technological Revolution” and “The New Economy and Emerging Development Tracks.” During the roundtable dialogue on “The New Economy and the New Technological Revolution,” Dr. Zhao Guofeng, Chairman of Jiuri New Materials, outlined the company’s development strategy. Dr. Zhao stated that Jiuri New Materials is currently pursuing an industrial roadmap centered on the photopolymerization sector and prioritizing the semiconductor industry, while strengthening its independent R&D capabilities and product specialization. The company aims to achieve breakthroughs in more critical fields and key technologies, thereby invigorating the industry, driving structural transformation and upgrading, and enhancing the quality and efficiency of economic growth.

Since listing on the STAR Market, Jiuri New Materials has repeatedly invested heavily in the fields of photopolymerization and semiconductor electronic chemicals, achieving multi‑dimensional expansion of its industrial chain. Going forward, this strategy is expected to unleash the company’s technological vitality and lead industry development.
