Recently, Hunan Jiuri New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Hunan Jiuri”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Jiuri New Materials (688199.SH), was successfully included in the second batch of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s list of “Little Giant” enterprises specializing in niche fields.
According to reports, the target enterprises for cultivation as “Little Giant” firms specializing in niche fields are technology‑based companies engaged in the research and development of technologies and the production of products in key sectors aligned with national and provincial (municipal or district) industrial development priorities. Such enterprises should possess: a well‑established innovation mechanism and commensurate R&D funding; leading market share and strong brand recognition; core technologies and research outcomes protected by independent intellectual property rights; a core team with solid professional backgrounds and robust operational and managerial capabilities; sound growth prospects and the potential to evolve into internationally leading enterprises in their respective fields; as well as a strong reputation and a sense of social responsibility. Their defining characteristics include specialization, innovation, demonstrative impact, and leadership.
Jiuri New Materials has long been dedicated to the photopolymerization materials sub‑sector, focusing on domestic substitution for photoinitiators and other electronic chemicals. The company boasts robust technological capabilities and a strong R&D team, operating both a “Municipal Enterprise Technology Center” and the “Tianjin Photoinitiator Technology Engineering Center.” It masters key core technologies in the industry, with all its products developed independently, maintaining a leading position in the sector for many years and wielding global influence in the photopolymerization field. In 2019, it was recognized as one of the first batch of national “Little Giant” enterprises specializing in niche fields and demonstrating exceptional innovation.
This year, our wholly owned subsidiary, Hunan Jiuri, has once again been selected, a testament to the company’s unwavering commitment to technological innovation and a clear indication of the state’s high regard for our level of specialization, innovative capabilities, industry influence, and overall strength. With technology leading the way and innovation driving development, the company will continue to prioritize independent innovation, striving to achieve major breakthroughs in more critical fields and key technologies. By staying ahead of the curve on the path of “centering on the UV‑curing industry and prioritizing the semiconductor sector,” we aim to seize opportunities, take the initiative, and position ourselves at the forefront of global technological advancement—pursuing steady, long‑term progress and contributing to national economic growth.
