Leveraging its extensive experience in corporate philanthropy, the company has conducted in-depth research into the root causes of poverty and hardship in impoverished villages. By aligning its efforts with the geographical advantages of its subsidiaries and capitalizing on their locational strengths, Jiuri New Materials has launched well‑organized, targeted poverty‑alleviation programs. Through infrastructure support and development, it has improved both production conditions and living environments in rural areas, thereby writing a new chapter of “distributed” poverty alleviation that bears the distinctive imprint of Jiuri New Materials.

As a listed company with a high sense of social responsibility, Jiuri New Materials has for many years been actively engaged at the forefront of targeted poverty alleviation, distilling the insight that “poverty alleviation is not about addressing temporary needs; it is about village–enterprise collaboration to forge a path toward sustainable development in impoverished villages.” Following thorough research, Jiuri New Materials identified inadequate infrastructure in impoverished areas as a key constraint on productivity and a major factor undermining residents’ well-being. Drawing on local conditions, community needs, and the geographic advantages of its subsidiaries, the company has adopted a “distributed” poverty‑alleviation strategy. Under the unified guidance of its parent company, Tianjin Jiuri, subsidiaries including Hunan Jiuri, Changzhou Jiuri, and Shandong Jiuri—working with government support—have established precise partnerships with six villages and one county across six provinces and municipalities: Hunan, Jiangsu, Hubei, Shandong, Gansu, and Tianjin, thereby implementing paired‑assistance programs. This “distributed” approach has broadened the scope of Jiuri New Materials’ poverty‑alleviation efforts while enabling each subsidiary to leverage its regional strengths, deeply integrate its corporate strategies with local customs and traditions, and carry out poverty‑reduction work in ways that resonate with local communities.

　　Under the guidance of the Party and the state’s poverty‑alleviation policies, Jiuri New Materials has provided paired assistance to a total of six villages and one county, including Beiwang Village in Wudi County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province; Yueyang Village in Zhiqian Town, Jintan District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province; Tantou Village in Guihuayuan Township, Hongjiang District, Huaihua City, Hunan Province; Xilou Village in Hebeitun Town, Wuqing District, Tianjin; Dongsuzhuang Village in Hebeitun Town, Wuqing District, Tianjin; Dacanggai Village in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province; and Huachi County in Gansu Province. In recent years, as its poverty‑alleviation model has grown increasingly mature, Jiuri New Materials has pioneered innovative approaches and achieved significant results.

　　In 2018, Jiuri New Materials paired up to provide assistance to three impoverished villages, donating a total of RMB 105,000 to upgrade and renovate village infrastructure. Specifically, Shandong Jiuri supported Beiwang Village in Wudi County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, with a donation of RMB 30,000; Changzhou Jiuri supported Yueyang Village in Zhiqian Town, Jintan District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, with a donation of RMB 25,000; and Hunan Jiuri supported Tantou Village in Guihuayuan Township, Hongjiang District, Huaihua City, Hunan Province, with a donation of RMB 50,000.

　　In 2019, Jiuri New Materials established paired assistance relationships with four villages and one county, donating a total of RMB 1.275 million to support both east–west poverty‑alleviation initiatives and targeted poverty‑reduction efforts. Specifically, Changzhou Jiuri provided assistance to Yueyang Village in Zhiqian Town, Jintan District, Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, contributing RMB 15,000; Hunan Jiuri supported Tantou Village in Guihuayuan Township, Hongjiang District, Huaihua City, Hunan Province, with cumulative donations totaling RMB 1.04 million for public‑welfare poverty‑alleviation projects; additionally, Hunan Jiuri aided the impoverished villages of Xilou Village and Dongsuzhuang Village in Hebeitun Town, Wuqing District, Tianjin, by funding infrastructure development and disbursing RMB 200,000 in aid; furthermore, Tianjin Jiuri extended counterpart support to Huachi County, Gansu Province, donating RMB 20,000.

　　In 2020, as of August, Changzhou Jiuri had donated RMB 15,000 to Yueyang Village in Zhiqian Town, Jintan District, Changzhou—a designated paired‑assistance recipient. Meanwhile, Tianjin Jiuri has partnered with Dacanggai Village in Zhangjiakou City, contributing RMB 50,000 in assistance funds. By providing basic infrastructure support to sustain production and boosting agricultural sales, the company has helped increase incomes. In this pivotal year for securing a decisive victory in the battle against poverty, Jiuri New Materials has also pioneered a new approach to poverty alleviation by purchasing agricultural products from counties that have not yet been lifted out of poverty—particularly those facing deep poverty—as employee benefits. This initiative not only strengthens employees’ sense of social responsibility but also stimulates local agricultural development through consumption.
