“Glory and Legacy” Positive-Message Speech Contest

　　To carry forward the Jiuri spirit, highlight exemplary role models, unlock employees’ public speaking potential, showcase their wisdom and charisma, and foster a vibrant culture of striving for excellence, Jiuri New Materials Headquarters and its subsidiaries jointly organized the “Glory and Legacy” Positive‑Energy Speech Contest.

　　This competition consists of a preliminary round and a final. Seventy-five contestants from various roles took part; following the initial registration, preliminary selection, and comprehensive evaluation, 17 advanced to the final. The final featured company leaders as judges and engaged 60 employee representatives as “Popularity Award” jurors.

　　At the finals, contestants drew on their own roles and real‑world work experiences to share stories of role models around them, recount their teams’ journeys of striving forward, and describe their breakthroughs in technical challenges—all under the theme “Set Examples, Learn from the Advanced, Uphold Integrity.” Their presentations fully showcased the spirit and character of Jiuri people, shining brightly with pride and determination. Liu Jing from the Marketing Center of the Head Office recounted her early struggles with learning English yet refusing to give up, and went on to detail how, during the pandemic, she overcame countless obstacles to deliver goods across oceans to customers—her words vividly illustrating Jiuri’s work ethic: “Never let go of a problem; never stop until it’s solved.” Tian Mi of the Inner Mongolia Jiuri Wastewater Treatment Station, together with her entire team, processed 160 tons of sludge in a single month, undaunted by dirt, hardship, or fatigue, radiating the passionate commitment to “treat public duties as family responsibilities and one’s profession as a lifelong calling.” Zhang Jingwei from the Market Operations Department of Jiuri Hongrun took us into his “marketing family,” where every member is a true technical expert, each possessing genuine skills and expertise, allowing us to deeply appreciate the admirable spirit of “rallying behind the red flag and vying for first place.” Li Tao of the Technical Process Department at Jiuri Dajing spoke of his willingness to seek out challenges at work, viewing difficult conditions as a precious opportunity to hone himself. Undaunted by hardship and unafraid of hard labor, he ultimately reaped the rewards of perseverance. Tang Mengqiao of the Equipment Engineering Department at Hunan Jiuri painted a portrait of the most inspiring maintenance workers at Jiuri—braving the scorching sun, charging into the front lines, and working tirelessly with unwavering dedication. Steadfastly upholding Jiuri’s ethos of “hard work and struggle, staying true to principles while innovating,” they embody responsibility with their hands, demonstrate commitment through their sweat, and illuminate the very essence of striving with the vitality of youth… Wherever the performances were brilliant, thunderous applause erupted; wherever the moments touched the heart, tears welled up.

　　The competition judges and the “Popularity Award” panel listened attentively, took meticulous notes, and offered precise feedback. Meanwhile, Dr. Zhao Guofeng, Chairman of the company, highly commended the contestants for their positive, upward‑looking spirit and their relentless drive to excel through hard work. He stated that the theme of this speech contest—“Glory and Legacy”—is perfectly aligned with the company’s current development trajectory, and that all Jiu Ri employees should seize this opportunity to further strengthen their sense of mission and responsibility, muster their energy, maintain high morale, and remain steadfast in their confidence, staying true to their original aspirations and contributing to Jiu Ri’s continued growth.
